  I highly recommend Village Chimney Sweeps. Gary replaced a fireplace with wood burning insert and installed a wood stove in our basement. He also corrected the many problems from the builder in the original construction. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Gary was professional, courteous, and punctual, but most importantly...knowledgeable. He knows what he's doing which is more than I can say for the many others that I first spoke to while looking for someone to help us. He explained what would need to be done to bring our situation up to code and gave us an accurate estimate. The project came out beautifully. He used the original stone around the insert and did it the way we wanted it done, the way it should have been done originally. I'm pleased every time I light a fire. The insert and the wood stove work perfectly and the work was done by someone who is as particular as I am.
